As with life, each painting begins with a soul, layer by
layer, becoming a unique expression of the creator.
“I begin each painting with a wash of color that
becomes the “soul” of the painting. Then, using
brushes and knives, I layer, splash and cut color onto
the canvas giving life to the creation. Each painting
evolves from my emotional interaction with paint on
the canvas.”
Colors and shapes, soft spaces and sharp edges,
splashes and drips; work together to draw us into the
painting and take us deeper into it’s soul. The
experience and interpretation is unique to each
observer, but communicates to all.
